Well A BIG Howdy to everyone in here and out there.
It’s been a big long battle but I do think I can see daylight now.
My Biggest problem is trying to say Thanks to 10,000 or more or less, great shooters and friends that I can’t even imagine trying to remember all of ya, so not one name will be mention during this little thanks from me.
There was a time not to long ago that I really didn’t know if I was gonna make it or not and at one time I could almost care lees if I didn’t. As it turned out I was as close as 24 hrs’ of being near death anyway. But then I turned around and there was Gail holding a wet wash cloth wiping my brow to keep the fever down, and she had a hand full of get well cards, Gail who just drove round trip 200+ miles every day while I was in intensive care. No, I could not give up it’s just not in me to do that.
I still have a long ways to go, but it nothing when the Lord is walking ya.
SO what I really have to say is Thanks for sticking by me, Thanks for the PRAYERS, thanks for the donations, thanks for the luving cards.
Yeah I here some people say it’s not right to tell other men ya luv them, Well too Bad cause I luv every one of ya.
God Bless ya all, Your Friend,

Good afternoon Sixpak,
Just thought I would check in let everyone know their prayers are working. I am still gaining strength and starting to sleep at night with having only wake up call during the night. Getting a good night sleep and waking rested sure feels good. I still get fatigue easily but that is from not getting any exercise and all the medications for 3 months, but I am gaining strength due to less medication and more activity! It should warm up here soon, and I will be able to get out more.
We still have our MRI on March 18 and see the doctors on March 25 and 26.
Hope all is well at WR, sure wish we were there, maybe next year!
Thanks for everything, from your friends

Good afternoon SixPak,
I have recieved a good news on my first check up with the doctors! I had a 30 to 40% reduction in the tumor size after 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. Have been off the radiation since then, but now on the chemo only for 5 days and 23 days off. The 5 days of chemo is tough, the dosage has been nearly tripled to 425 mg. a day. I really struggle each day of that week, hopefully I have made some good improvements in my strength and diet to not have such a tough time next week when I start the next 5 day of chemo and 23 days off. After this 2 second treatment we will get another MRI and see all the doctors again to see what is happening. I will be having this 5/23 for the next year. Hope it gets better on the 5 days of treatment.
Thanks for everything and keep us in your prayers.
